Ive got some information about her coming tour

Quote: Shakira revealed some of the World Tour info today at the pressconference in Madrid.



The tour will kick off in Spain on June 16th and then continue in Latin America, United States and Europe.

Set list will include songs from her 2 la-*test*-('") albums, Fijacion Oral 1 and Oral Fixation 2 and also many songs from her older albums.

Dates and locations of concerts in Spain are already revealed:

June

16 - A Coruña, Spain
20 - Léon, Spain
22 - Madrid, Plaza de Toros de Las Ventas, Spain
25 - Pamplona, Spain
28 - Barcelona, Palau Sant Jordi, Spain
30 - Málaga, Spain

Shakira recieves an award for her humanitarian work

On April 3rd a nonprofit organization Women Together awarded Shakira for her humanitarian work - for starting her foundation Pies Descalzos to help children in Colombia.



After accepting her award, Shakira said: "Let's not forget at the end of this day when we all go home, 960 children will have died in Latin America".

She also said: "As part of a generation that has so many ideas and technologies and things that my parents' generation didn't have access to ... let's take advantage of this historical opportunity we have within reach to make this world a better place".

Shakira's foundation Pies Descalzos and Carrefour Colombia donated 2000 school kits to the kids of Barranquilla. Each school kit costs around $20. If you want to help the foundation, check the website of Foundation Pies Descalzos to learn how you can help.
