She went from Paris' far less glamorous sidekick to ditching Ms Hilton, breaking out on her own and becoming one of the most stylish girls in the free world. Her wardrobe consisted mostly of gorgeous vintage dresses and jewelry, stylish skinny jeans, and perfectly fitted tops. Nicole's transformation is the best I've ever seen, and without a doubt, she was the best dressed celeb in 2005.

Rachel Bilson is best known for her role as “Summer Roberts” on the OC. She's one of the most stylish on the show, and really translates her great style to her everyday wear. Mixing vintage pieces with modern ones, and having some of the most unique bags and jewelry, Rachel was flawless all year.
3) Sophia Bush
Sophia Bush had a crazy year, getting married and divorced to super stud Chad Michael Murray. Through it all, however, she never let her style falter. Sophia's ladylike fashion choices always flattered her, from her pretty dresses to her casual jeans and a tank top look. She always looks put together and fantastic. I'm constantly on the watch for new paparazzi pictures of celebs to see what they're wearing and what new trends are coming out of L.A. Without fail, every candid I saw of Jessica Alba, she looked nothing less than perfect. Dressed down or up, Jessica Alba didn't miss a beat. Her best looks involved her winter 2005 wear, which consisted of boot cut jeans, tees, a sophisticated jacket, scarf and Converse shoes. Jessica Alba is for sure one of the best dressed celebrities in 2005.

Last, but not least, was Miss Hilary Duff. Weight loss and veneers aside, her style was right up to the minute with trends. In the summer 2005, she often wore shorts with long necklaces and flats. In the fall and winter of 2005, she looked perfect in skinny jeans and high boots. Never too revealing and always daring, Hilary made 2005 a more stylish year.
